Column

A vertical section in a list view or report, that represents a specific field or category of data that is being tracked. Examples: Name, phone, case status.

Counseling/Education Record

A tab on the Service File that stores client participation in housing counseling or education services. The c/e record can include the following: intake forms for Homebuyer Education (HBE), advising sessions, and pre-/post-workshop surveys. Example: An advisor can use the client’s c/e to locate their client’s advising intake form.

Detailed Row

A single record or entry in a list view or report that contains all the data for one client or file. Example: A detailed row showing Jane Doe’s service file can include: their contact info, last service date, and case status.

Edit (a Report)

Modify your report's setup—change columns, filters, or grouping. Example: Add a new column for "Referral Source" to an existing report.

Export

Download your report data to Excel or another format. Example: You can export a report to share with someone who doesn’t have Salesforce access.

Favoriting a Report

Mark frequently used reports for quick access. Example: Star your "Advising Counts" report to find it easily.

Field

A single piece of data stored within an object. Example: A client’s name, income level, or zip code.

Filter

A tool used to narrow down data by applying specific criteria. Example: "Show me only active clients" or "Service dates in the last 30 days."

Global Search

A search bar at the top of the HomeKeeper screen allows users to search across all HomeKeeper data.

Grouping

Organize records by categories with subtotals. Example: Group clients by Program Type or by Counselor.
