Agency Manager Role

The Minnesota Homeownership Center is excited to introduce a new role within HomeKeeper: the Agency Manager. This role is essential for improving our processes and ensuring smooth communication and reporting. Here’s what the Agency Manager will do:

  1. Primary Contact: The Agency Manager will be the main point of contact for all grant-related communications and grant reporting with the Center. This includes receiving reminders, updates, and other important information.
  2. Grant Oversight: The Agency Manager will oversee grant reporting, making sure all reporting requirements are met and compliance is maintained. The agency manager will collaborate with other team members with the organization to gether the necessary information for the report (i.e. advisors, educators, finance dept, senior or executive leadership).
  3. Staff Salary & Benefits Information Management: The Agency Manager will keep accurate staff salary and benefits information in HomeKeeper for HUD reporting purposes. This information is confidential and only the Agency Manager will be able to see this in HomeKeeper.
  4. Report Review and Approval: The Agency Manager will review and approve grant reports, sign final reports, and/or identify the person who will sign on behalf of the organization.
  5. Staff Contact Management: The Agency Manager will update staff roles and contact information in HomeKeeper as staff changes occur. They will also notify the Center within 10 days of any staff change.

Ideally, this role should be filled by someone with mid- to senior-level responsibility, who can make decisions about grant reporting and compliance, work closely with agency leadership.

This role could be assigned to two people if needed, such as for vacation coverage or other reasons. We can provide permission for two people in these situations.
