While everyone in your org can view your org’s records, only the Owner of records has permission to delete. If you are encountering an error when trying to delete a record, make sure you make yourself the Owner before attempting to delete.

The Owner field can be found in the System Information section at the bottom of any record page that has an Owner.

If you’re trying to delete a Counseling/Education record, you will need to make yourself the Owner of the Service File.

Search for your user by name in the search bar the comes up, uncheck the “Send notification email” checkbox, and click the “Change Owner” button.
