Occasionally you’ll need to add a household member to a Service File after the intake form was completed by the client. Read on to learn how.

Adding a Co-Applicant

<aside> 💡 A Co-Applicant is a household member, usually a spouse, partner or other family member, who is planning on being a co-borrower a pre-purchase context or is a co-owner in foreclosure or reverse mortgage contexts.

  1. Go to the client’s Service File and click on the “Household Members” tab

  1. Click the “New” button in the “Application Household Members” list

  1. Click into the Contact field and select the “+ New Contact” option at the bottom of the list that pops up

  1. On the “New Contact” screen, click into the Account Name field, search for the primary Applicant’s name and select it

  1. Enter the person’s First Name, Last Name, and any other fields you’d like. Then click the “Save” button.
  2. Now you’re back on the “New Application Household Member” screen with the Contact field filled in. Write the person’s full name into the Name field and select “Co-Applicant” for the Application Role. Complete the other fields as you can and click “Save”.
