Occasionally you’ll need to add a household member to a Service File after the intake form was completed by the client. Read on to learn how.
Adding a Co-Applicant

💡 A Co-Applicant is a household member, usually a spouse, partner or other family member, who is planning on being a co-borrower a pre-purchase context or is a co-owner in foreclosure or reverse mortgage contexts.

- Go to the client’s Service File and click on the “Household Members” tab

- Click the “New” button in the “Application Household Members” list

- Click into the Contact field and select the “+ New Contact” option at the bottom of the list that pops up

- On the “New Contact” screen, click into the Account Name field, search for the primary Applicant’s name and select it

- Enter the person’s First Name, Last Name, and any other fields you’d like. Then click the “Save” button.
- Now you’re back on the “New Application Household Member” screen with the Contact field filled in. Write the person’s full name into the Name field and select “Co-Applicant” for the Application Role. Complete the other fields as you can and click “Save”.

Adding a Child, Dependent, or Other Household Member
- Go to the client’s Service File and click on the “Household Members” tab

- Click the “New” button in the “Application Household Members” list
